Emily Luhrs is a Chicago-based actor, director, prop master, writer and athlete. Don’t let her seamless mix and ingénue looks fool you. Her training from the Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre at the University of Oklahoma has given Emily the depth to delve into any character. Emily’s energy and charisma on and off stage is her own brand of professionalism—a cocktail of enthusiasm, ambition, dedication, passion, humor and joy.
Some of her favorite roles include Sohpie Sheridan in Mamma Mia, Lizzie in Baby, Emily in A Christmas Carol, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Philia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Sally Simpson in The Who’s Tommy.
